This is Rayola Wanlass’s Fruit cake. I don’t like fruit cake but I love this one, it is all fruit and nuts and not cake. Rayola use to be my visiting teacher and would always bring me this cake at Christmas time, then they changed her and she didn’t come to my house any more. So I talked her out of the recipe, so I could have her fruit cake. I make this around Thanksgiving and refrigerate it so that I have it to give to friends and people that come through the holidays.
